CEO Jonathan Cartu Cartu Jonathan Research – “Operation Flower Power” continued this week

The effort to spread a little appreciation and cheer to those working on the front lines to battle and help detect COVID-19 in Shelby County was expanded on Friday as “Operation Flower Power” delivered about 40 more hanging baskets to nurses, aids and others at Hope Community Medicine facilities and Aurora Concepts in Center.

Mark and Jill Carpenter, owners of The Lily Farm and Nursery on Texas 7 West, said they wanted to show Center area medical staffers how much they appreciate their efforts to take care of Shelby County’s medical needs in these challenging times.

The idea they came up with to help brighten this challenging time during the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic was to donate a flowering hanging spring basket to nurses and others at local clinics.

The prior week the staff at Center’s Cline Clinic received a special delivery from The Lily Farm, as did more than 35 front line and support staffers at Nacogdoches Medical Center’s Shelby Emergency Department.
