TOBYHANNA, Pa. – An outpatient clinic in Monroe County will be temporarily closed starting Monday amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre will be temporarily closing its Tobyhanna Community-Based Outpatient Clinic.

Patients with upcoming clinic appointments scheduled will be contacted by their Patient Aligned Care Team to discuss alternative treatment options. For veterans assigned to the Tobyhanna Community Based Outpatient Clinic, care options remain available via video, telephone, or a face to face visit at one of the VA’s other locations.

Veterans experiencing an emergency should report to the nearest emergency room and notify the VA within 72 hours.
